Not sure which way to start?
Three doors into the same practice.
Most finishing work is transactional. Some of it is not. And some of it starts on my bench before anyone asks for it. Here are the three ways we can end up working together. Pick the door that fits the project you have in mind.
Finishing
For you.The most direct way to work together. You bring me a part; I coat it properly. Powder or Cerakote, on bicycle frames, hardware, furniture, prototypes, and design objects. Pricing is posted, lead times are honest.

Collaborate
With you.You bring me a problem instead of a brief. A finish that has to behave under a skylight. A hardware spec no catalog has an answer for. A question the team keeps circling. We figure it out together.

The Lab
For me.Some work starts on my bench before anyone asks. Small runs, stubborn objects, a color I could not stop thinking about. If you find something interesting, it can be yours.
Go to the LabAnd there is also this.
Not sure which
If the thinking is done and you just need the coating handled, Finishing is probably the right place. If the project still has some life in it, Collaborate. If you want to follow along with studio-led work before it finds a home, the Lab.
Still unclear? Send it along. I will help figure it out. hello@watermanmade.com.
